Our First Aid Course Aims:
This First Aid Course will provide participants with the necessary skills to give First Aid in the Workplace, which conform to Health and Safety regulations. Certified by PHECC the PreHospital Emergency Care Council. This new FAR course has replaced Occupational First Aid – (OFA/Fetac Level 5) in the workplace as of June 1st, 2018.

This First Aid Response (FAR) Refresher course will provide participants with the necessary skills to give First Aid in the Workplace, which conform to Health and Safety regulations. This course is certified by PHECC the PreHospital Emergency Care Council. This new FAR course has replaced Occupational First Aid – (OFA/Fetac Level 5) in the workplace as of June 1st, 2018.
Pre-Course Requirements:
Valid First Aid Response Certificate, dated within the last two years, proof of certification required.
Duration: 12 hours (50/50 blended learning, half e-learning and half in house practical)

Safe Pass Courses
This is a fully registered SOLAS Safe Pass Training course.
Our one day Safe Pass Courses take place in Mullingar Westmeath.
Time: 7:45am to 4pm
Training Methods:
Classroom based power-point presentation with discussions throughout & supplemented by videos.
Safe Pass is a mandatory one-day health and safety awareness programme. The aim of the programme is to raise the standard of safety awareness in the construction industry.
Requirements:

Good understanding of written and spoken English.

You Must Be Over 16 Years Old To Attend.

A Passport Size Photo

A valid Photo ID (Passport or Driving License).

A valid PPS number – If you do not have a PPS Number, but are assigned to a short project by a non Irish employer, then please contact us, so we could provide you with STB request form. You need to fill this in full and send back to us immediately no later than 3 working days before your course date, in order to get a temporary process number issued by SOLAS to attend the course. for any queries email protrainingcourses@gmail.com
Attendees will receive a letter of comfort on the day of the class enabling them to work right away, until their card arrives in the post.
Cancelling your place/refunds: If you cannot attend the course you are booked on, you must notify us of the cancellation at least 96 hours in advance. Otherwise, course fees will not be refunded.

Manual Handling:
This course is perfect if your work includes or will include lifting or moving loads. We cover everything you need to know so you can gain your Manual Handling Certificate and meet the requirements of the Health and Safety regulations.
Who Should Attend?
Under the Safety, Health & Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007, is a legal requirement for ALL staff involved in manual handling operations to be trained in Manual Handling.
Assessment & Certification:
To receive certification for manual handling, all learners must successfully complete both the theory & practical components of the course. Certificates are valid for three years from date of issue.
